Welcome to AKRADA CampusIntel ("AKRADA", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your use of akrada.com and all AKRADA pages and services. By using AKRADA, you agree to these Terms.

1. What AKRADA Is

AKRADA is a technology platform for Nigerian university students that provides:

Campus navigation and location sharing
Video courses and ebooks
Live tutorial listings and bookings
Past questions library
GPA calculator, emergency alarm, and community features
AKRADA IQ — a free quiz game with real-name leaderboards and sponsored tournaments
Verified campus location database with cash rewards for contributors
An AKRADA Marketplace for student-to-student and tutor-to-student sales
An employer pipeline connecting verified students with internships and jobs
Affiliate and partner programs

AKRADA is a platform. We connect students and tutors. We do not teach courses ourselves, do not provide the tutorials, and do not author ebooks sold by others on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 or older to use AKRADA
If you are under 18, you need parental/guardian consent
You agree to provide accurate information when signing up

You are responsible for your account and password

4. Courses & Ebooks

4.1 For Students

Courses and ebooks are bought per item
Payments are processed by Paystack
Certificates are issued upon full completion of all lessons
Refund policy: Digital content is generally non-refundable once accessed. If a course is materially misrepresented, contact support within 7 days for review.

4.2 For Tutors

Free to publish courses and ebooks
You keep 70% of every sale; AKRADA takes 30%
Payouts every Friday via the tutor dashboard
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you upload
AKRADA reserves the right to reject or remove any course or ebook

5. Live Tutorials

5.1 For Students

You book and pay through AKRADA
Your payment is held for 48 hours after the class before release to the tutor
If the tutor does not attend, you are entitled to a full refund
Reviews may be left only after a verified booking

5.2 For Tutors

Live tutorial posting requires a monthly subscription: Tier 1 – ₦3,000/month (3 posts, 10% AKRADA cut) or Tier 2 – ₦6,000/month (unlimited, 5% AKRADA cut)
AKRADA reserves the right to grant free subscriptions at its discretion (e.g., early supporters)
Tutor payouts are made every Friday
No-show = full refund to student, tutor balance debited, 48-hour payout hold, and possible suspension
Tutors are solely responsible for the content, safety, and conduct of their classes

6. Affiliate & Partner Programs

Affiliate Program: 5% commission on every course and ebook sale referred
Partner Program: 7% commission — by invitation and approval at the founder's discretion
Referral bindings are permanent: once a buyer is referred by an affiliate or partner, that referrer earns on all future course and ebook purchases by that buyer
Commissions do not apply to live tutorial sales
Fraudulent referrals (self-referral, bots, fake accounts) will result in account termination and forfeiture of earnings

7. AKRADA IQ — Quiz Game Rules (V.3)

7.1 Free to Play — Halal Commitment

AKRADA IQ is free to play. There is no entry fee for any mode, including Ranked 1v1 and Weekly Tournaments.
There is no pooled money and no gambling mechanic of any kind. Prize pools are funded entirely by business sponsors, not by players.
AKRADA charges sponsors a service fee of approximately 20% above the stated prize pool to cover operations, moderation, and prize logistics. This fee is paid by the sponsor, not deducted from any player's winnings.
Winners receive the full advertised prize amount, paid to their Nigerian bank account, typically within 24–48 hours of verification.

7.2 Conduct and Fair Play

You must play on your own device and answer questions yourself. Any use of bots, scripts, second devices, or assistance from another person during a ranked match or tournament will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.
Real-name leaderboards mean your legal name (or approved display name) appears publicly. You may not use a fake name on a sponsored leaderboard.
You may not create multiple accounts to boost rankings, farm streaks, or manipulate tournament standings. Duplicate accounts will be banned and prizes forfeited.
1v1 challenges have rate limits (max 5 challenges per 10 minutes, one per person per 30 minutes) and a block feature. Abusing these to harass other players will result in suspension.
Spectator reactions (👏 🔥 💪 😮 ❤️) must be used respectfully. There is no chat, no DMs, and no messaging of any kind during matches — reactions are the only communication, and they are public.

7.3 Prizes and Payouts

Tournament winners are contacted by AKRADA via the app and by email within 24 hours of the tournament ending.
To receive a payout, you must provide a Nigerian bank account in your own name. Payouts to third-party accounts are not permitted.
Payouts are manually batch-processed by the founder within 24–48 hours. There is no "pickup" option.
If a winner cannot be verified (name mismatch, suspicious activity), AKRADA reserves the right to withhold the prize and reallocate it to the next eligible winner at our sole discretion.
Winners are responsible for any tax obligations arising from their prize under Nigerian law.

8. Verified Campus Location Submissions (V.3)

Contributors can submit campus locations (buildings, landmarks, faculties, hostels, gates, cafeterias) to AKRADA's verified location database.
Each submission requires: a clear photo, live GPS coordinates captured at the moment of submission, and a live timestamp. Submissions missing any of these will be auto-rejected.
Reward structure (subject to change with notice on the Updates page):
- ₦100 for major buildings (faculties, hostels, libraries, admin blocks)
- ₦50 for landmarks (gates, statues, cafeterias, small landmarks)
Rewards are paid only after the submission is approved by AKRADA admin. Pending and rejected submissions earn nothing.
First-come-first-served: if two contributors submit the same place, only the first approved submission earns the reward. Duplicate submissions are void.
Falsified submissions (fake coordinates, stock photos, screenshots, submissions for places you are not physically at) will result in permanent account termination and claw-back of any rewards already paid.
By submitting, you grant AKRADA a non-exclusive, perpetual license to display the photo, coordinates, and location data on the AKRADA map and in marketing materials.

9. Contributor Program (V.3)

Approved location contributors and past-question uploaders receive a public contributor profile with reputation score and tier (Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum).
Reputation is earned through approved submissions and lost through rejected or fraudulent ones.
Contributor tokens (e.g., AKR-CONTRIB-XXXXXX) are unique identifiers used to track submissions. Do not share your token with anyone — anyone with your token can impersonate your submissions.
High-tier contributors may be invited to moderate content on their own campus. Moderators must uphold the same Terms and are subject to the same penalties for abuse.

10. AKRADA Marketplace (V.3)

The Marketplace allows students and tutors to sell notes, prep materials, ebooks, and courses to other students.
AKRADA takes a 10–15% commission from the seller on each sale. The buyer pays the listed price.
Sellers must own the content they sell, or have explicit permission to sell it. Copyright infringement (including uploading past questions you do not have rights to distribute) may result in removal and account termination.
Buyers may request a refund within 7 days if the material was materially misrepresented. AKRADA mediates disputes and reserves the right to refund at its discretion.
Sellers are paid out via the same weekly Friday payout cycle as tutors, after the 7-day refund window has passed.

11. Employer Pipeline (V.3)

AKRADA lists internships and jobs posted by verified employers to verified students.
Students pay nothing to apply. Employers pay a placement fee (₦10,000–₦50,000 depending on the role) to AKRADA on successful hire.
Employers must agree to AKRADA's employer data terms: they may only use student data to evaluate applications, and may not resell or share it.
AKRADA does not guarantee placement. Listings are third-party and AKRADA is not a party to any employment contract.

12. Verified Student Identity (V.3)

Students may optionally verify their identity by uploading a student ID or providing a matric number and school email.
Verified students receive a badge on their profile and unlock employer pipeline applications and sponsored tournament eligibility.
Misrepresenting your identity (uploading someone else's ID, using a fake matric number) will result in permanent ban and forfeiture of any pending rewards or prizes.
AKRADA reserves the right to revoke a verification badge at any time if we have reasonable grounds to believe it was obtained fraudulently.

13. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or hateful content
Impersonate another person
Post content that infringes copyright or intellectual property
Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt AKRADA
Use AKRADA for fraud, money laundering, or illegal activity
Send false emergency alarms
Mock, harass, or abuse other users — including on the anonymous feed
Submit fake locations, fake ID documents, or false quiz answers in tournaments

Violation may result in immediate account termination.

14. Anonymous Feed

The anonymous feed exists for honest expression. It is not a shield for harassment. Reported posts that violate these Terms will be removed, and repeat offenders will be banned.

15. Emergency Alarm

The emergency alarm is a real safety tool. False alarms are a serious violation and will result in permanent account termination and possible legal action.

16. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload (courses, ebooks, past questions, posts, location photos)
By uploading, you grant AKRADA a non-exclusive license to host, display, and promote it on the platform
AKRADA's name, logo, design, and code are the property of AKRADA CampusIntel

17. Payments & Paystack

All payments are processed by Paystack. By using AKRADA's payment features, you also agree to Paystack's terms. AKRADA does not store your card details.

18. Limitation of Liability

AKRADA is provided "as is." We do not guarantee:

That the app will be error-free or always available
That any tutor, course, or tutorial will meet your expectations
That locations on the map are 100% accurate at all times
That you will win any tournament, prize, or employer placement

AKRADA is not liable for indirect losses, missed classes, or third-party conduct. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid AKRADA in the last 3 months.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, harm other users, or abuse the platform. You may delete your account anytime by emailing [email protected].

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled in Nigerian courts.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted in the app and on this page. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
